This Veterans Day took on a whole new meaning for me this year than in years past. In August I was able to go to St. Louis and listen to Grandpa (Virgil Milner) talk about the war and show us all kinds of memorabilia from it. What an amazing respect I now have for the men and women who serve. Especially the men who served in World War II and experienced the things Grandpa experienced!

To listen to Grandpa tell about his experiences is like being on the verge (no pun intended) of the world that we came from. It is like spending real time with the past and present. Love you dad.
